Heat transfer resistance coefficient  RSI=9.67  (R=54,9)
Passive House Block – straight 300mm

3 in 1 construction formwork

Non-removable formwork Passive House Block combines 3 stages of wall construction at once:
  • monolithic load-bearing wall
  • 300mm insulation
  • gypsum inner part, which acts as a rough plaster
The block comes in different variations and sizes
  1. insulation 50mm – 300mm
  2. plastic hinges allow 100mm-450mm of concrete wall to be used
  3. gypsum board could be replaced with detachable wooden or plastic formwork allowing to keep concrete wall finishing inside

About insulation, we use in Passive House Block

the next Generation of insulation

Neopor®

BASF Neopor® GPS is a graphite polystyrene (GPS) rigid foam insulation that gives maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness and sustainability on construction projects. Planners, architects, contractors and builder-owners benefit from insulation made of Neopor GPS because of the special advantages this material offers.

Neopor GPS is S.M.A.R.T. insulation:

Sustainable development

Stability and Durability
Neopor GPS is adaptable in size, thickness, shape and density, providing maximum flexibility and durability. And, Neopor GPS is stable as it consistently delivers the highest true R-value performance over time.
Moisture-management
Neopor GPS is a breathable and semi-permeable high performance insulation that helps reduce the risk of mold, rot and structural damage associated with moisture condensation and long-term water retention.
Resource-efficient
Neopor GPS uses up to 30% less material than other rigid foam insulation to achieve the same R-value, saving on building materials and installation labor.
Hi-end perfomance

RSI-value = 9.67 R-value = 54,6

Silver-Grey Neopor GPS is comprised of many small pockets of air within a polymer matrix containing graphite. The graphite reflects radiant heat energy like a mirror, increasing the material’s resistance to the flow of heat, or R-value. Most polymer-based foams exhibit a greater ability to slow the movement of heat as the temperature decreases. Neopor GPS is in a unique class because it increases in R-value as the temperature outside drops.

*RSI-Value (metric) = 9,67  R-value (imperial) = 54,9

Neopor GPS is safe and healthy

Approved by leaders

Third-party validated and certified

Neopor GPS earned GREENGUARD Gold Certification and has been referenced by both The Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) and the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Building Rating System.

Cost Saving

3 in 1 product design saves money on construction works

The outdated approach of fixing the insulation to the wall after the wall itself has been built requires significant effort and expense – such as high-quality adhesives and dowels longer than 40 cm

Power Saving

Ultimate energy efficiency followed by proper architecture design makes NZEB class builds. Now it is absolutely reasonable to make another step – energy plus housing, since we don’t need a lot of energy to keep house at comfortable temperature

The highest class of energy efficient construction

The outdated approach of fixing the insulation to the wall after the wall itself has been built requires significant effort and expense – such as high-quality adhesives and dowels longer than 40 cm

In our case, plastic bridges are used to hold the insulation, which are further enhanced by the effect of gluing concrete to the insulation itself, which has excellent adhesion. Thus, we get an ideal wall with a record thickness of insulation, one of the best wall insulation materials in the world.

Easy and innovative block
with exceptional properties

This block comes unassembled so saves space and still is very easy to carry and assemble.

This is vital for construction sites with limited access, delivery problems, and where the use of construction equipment is difficult

Seamlessly connecting modern
technology and design

The key feature of an energy-efficient home is the absence of cold bridges and the tightness of the structure

  • Straight block

    non-removable formwork R=54,9

Fixed formwork “Passive House Block®” is designed for the construction of walls of buildings with ultra-low consumption, using the technology of monolithic construction.

    • Neopor® insulation panels
    •  special cast gypsum panel
    • seven plastic adjustable ties (jumpers) that allow you to get a concrete wall thickness from 100 to 450 mm

    Assembled dimensions H:300 mm, L: 1000 mm

  • Corner block

    non-removable formwork

Block composition: external insulation corner panel (two parts interconnected with a dovetail lock), two cast gypsum panels 30 mm thick with dimensions 500 × 300 and 280 × 300, eight plastic jumpers

Overall dimensions of the block: height 300 mm; the length of the inner sides (gypsum panels) 250 mm and 500 mm; the length of the outer sides (insulation) and the width of the block depends on the selected thickness of the insulation and the concrete core of the wall

  • Straight block

    removable formwork

Passive house block to removable formwork
A block that combines a combination of removable and fixed formwork with 300 mm insulation and the ability to control the thickness of the concrete core of the wall

  • Corner block

    removable formwork
  • Bearing wall block

    non-removable formwork inside the buliding

Block composition: Two gypsum panels 30 mm thick and seven plastic lintels

Overall dimensions of the block: length 1000 mm; height 300 mm; width depends on the thickness of the concrete core of the wall

  • ICF block

    non-removable formwork for foundations

Fixed formwork block made of extruded polystyrene foam
It is intended for the device of the warmed bases, socle floors, and socles of buildings. It can be used to build walls.

Overall dimensions: L 1250 mm, H 600 mm, width depends on the planned thickness of the concrete core (100 mm to 400 mm).

    Self-sustaining house

On our way to sustainable development, we must provide the highest level of energy efficiency and obtain as low as possible demand for primal energy.

In calculations and in practice, buildings constructed from PHBs have shown outstanding energy efficiency results, which means that without any significant investment, such houses can become completely autonomous houses that do not require external energy sources.

    This is a game-changing approach:

    • no bills
    • no sudden blackouts
    • no dependence on finance
